TREAT'EM PET TREATS
Packaging design for a range of dog and cat treats by Simply2 Pets, sold D2C online and in a York department store concession, and B2B to independent pet shops across the UK.
Treat'Em started life as complimentary treats included in customer orders, using a simple header card with a minimal, information-forward design. One of my first projects as the in-house designer was to develop the packaging to turn the treats into a retail product line.
This began with the initial kibble dog treats and expanding into an entire range, including new flavours, cat treats, and a more premium 'Country Bites' collection.

Shelf appeal was the main concern when the treats became a product for sale, I redesigned the packaging to give the range a more distinctive identity and stronger visual presence, introducing a small cardboard box format with a hand-drawn dog illustration and a bold, playful visual style.
Flavour stickers allowed the same core packaging to be adapted across different treats. The use of cardboard also supported the brand's preference for more environmentally conscious packaging.

COUNTRY BITES
The range was later expanded with premium collection of game meat treats, including Venison, Wild Boar and Rabbit.
I developed a distinct visual direction inspired by the British countryside and the aesthetic associated with country estates and hunting dogs, using more muted colours, traditional patterns like gingham and plaid, and vintage-style illustrations (sourced.)
